CHESS TOURNAMENT MAGISTRAL
ACP News [Wed Oct 08th, 09:23]On Thursday, October 30th at 15.45 the Chess Tournament Magistral Casino de
Barcelona 2008 will start. This year the Tournament is organized by the
Catalonian Chess Federation and sponsored by the Casino of Barcelona (Group
Peralada), Barcelona City Hall, Catalonian Sports Council and Hotel Icaria of
Barcelona.
The Venue of the Tournament is the Casino of Barcelona (Marina Avenue, 19-21 ),
the dates are from October 30th to November 7th, 2008, and the games will start
at 16.00.

3rd ACP World Rapid Cup will take place in Odessa from February 6th to 8th 2009

Bank PIVDENNY will once again be the organizer and financial partner of the 3rd ACP World Rapid Cup.
The 3rd ACP WRC will be a KO tournament. The time control will be 20 minutes per game with an increment of 5 seconds per move.
The prize fund will be USD 136,000.
16 players will fight for the Cup: 13 grandmasters who performed best in the ACP Tour 2007/2008 + 3 Wild Cards given by the organizers.
